RAPD)[лат. amplificatio — распространение, увеличение; греч. poly — много и morphe — вид, форма, образ]метод, основанный на амплификации ДНК с помощью полимеразной цепной реакции с использованием коротких олигодезоксирибонуклеотидных произвольных (случайных) праймеров (см. праймер произвольный). Выявляемые с помощью этого метода полиморфные по длине фрагменты могут использоваться как генетические маркеры для конструирования генетических карт, позволяют выявлять полиморфизм между штаммами микроорганизмов, различными сортами растений и породами животных.Толковый биотехнологический словарь.
